About Surefire-Photography
My name is Andy Shaw, I was a paramedic for 34 years and have always had a passion for creating images. I have been fortunate to work in and around photography for many years. I am currently Chairman of the Isle of Thanet Photographic Society which has also helped me in developing my craft.
The last few years, have seen me set up my own photography business, Surefire-Photography. I like to think that I have a truly imaginative and creative side that allows me to create powerful images of landscapes and memorable portraits. My bespoke home studio has a huge variety of photography equipment for every project, while still hugely enjoying those location shoots! I absolutely love photography and adore a chat and meeting and working with individuals and families.
My speciality
Is in portrait photography, headshots, fashion shoots, portfolio, and commercial photography, both in my studio and on location. My location work can also be with individuals, families or companies (countryside, beaches, commercial premises or wherever you would like to go!) I also enjoy capturing landscapes and wildlife.
My studio is a relaxed, comfortable space with changing facilities too. The studio has a variety of cameras, lighting and other equipment, backdrops and props, not only, to put you at your ease but also create beautiful, striking and memorable photographs. Location shoots in and around our stunning coastline and countryside are not only fun, but also produce beautiful images capturing a unique moment in time.
